Blacker Serif Font Family

Blacker Serif font Family was created by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Andrea Tartarelli to fit within the current trend of “evil serifs”, or typefaces that feature high contrast, 1970s-inspired proportions with sharp, wedge-serif-style serifs. Design elements have been further refined with two subfamilies of design elements. The display version offers tighter kerning, greater contrast, and sharper corners for optimal use when used at larger sizes, while text variants provide increased readability while rendering better display rendering with less contrast.

Each subfamily comes in six weights ranging from light to heavy and features true italics which can be used for advertisements and editorial content creation. Blacker contains an expansive character set consisting of over seventy Latin alphabet-based languages and Russian Cyrillic script.
