Niklas Johnson developed the Ampero industrial sans-serif typeface in 2020/2021 through his revision of Fred Lambert’s Compacta typeface. The four weight versions of Ampero come with italics which enhance legibility on screens and paper and include fonts for Latin Cyrillic and Greek combinations with open features that support positioned small caps and fractions as well as superior and inferior numerals with alternative styles for better type layout.
