Coco Sharp was designed in 2013 by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini for Zetafonts foundry in association with Francesco Canovaro and Andrea Tartarelli. This logo style is based on vernacular grotesques sign painting and modernism as well as the idea of Coco Chanel, the famous fashion designer. Coco is a geometric sans typeface that has been designed with an old school geometric skeleton however has been given humanist proportions and optical adjustments for each glyph to offer a warm vintage look on paper or screen.
The corners of Coco Sharp are sharp and different from the previous designs (Coco Gothic and Cocogoose), providing a distinctive visual appearance and logo capabilities together with better legibility for text applications. Similar to the Coco families, this rich selection of supplementary letterforms means that the users can generate a range of historical references with stylish yet flexible lettering that makes a plain word into a typographic logo.
