Universo was designed by Mauro Andres and Peggo Fonts for the covers of Caos Sagrado magazines and fanzines and to educate the public about social problems through retro-futuristic fonts, poster designs, retro-futuristic fonts, retro scientific publications which used to be available as scientific texts, retro futuristic fonts that have been brought back as design trends, and Aldo Novarese (Italian) who started working during the 1950s. “Universo CSS” and “Universo Stencil CS” were created during September and October of 2018, by the direction of the Victoria Rivas, and the design of Mauro Andres, with a supervision from Victoria Rivas.
Their versions were exhibited for the first time during the Impresionante (an independent printing fair held every year in Chile) alongside the printed ones. This phase of the project was revised and completed by March 2019 and then became operational between November 2019 to April 2020 in six different formats with the assistance of Peggo Fonts.
