The internet series inspired by Rod Serling’s original television show premiered April 1st 2019 through CBS All Access and was renewed for an additional episode on April 29th 2019; created by Simon Kinberg and Jordan Peele with filming beginning October 1, 2018 and concluding on March 20, 2019. Filming of The Twilight Zone took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The first season consists of 10 episodes written and directed by different screenwriters and directors; these episodes premiered April 2019 while its color/black version premiered May 30, 2019.

The debut season of this TV series earned an approval score of 74% with an average review score of 7.53/10 on Rotten Tomatoes website and Metacritic ratings which generally favorable, ranking the show 61 out of 100 points. Based on critical review, this show explored the disparate nature of modern society through Jordan Peele as its narrator. Reviews also applauded Jordan’s narration style as it featured numerous tales of horror, sci-fi and mystery within this classic TV series.
