Since 1997 the headlines in The Washington Post are set in a solid and concise Bodoni designed by Matthew Carter. Richard Lipton with Jill Pichotta and Dyana Weissman added more stylish Display & Condensed version to their family of fonts in 2009 to address larger sizes. The original name for these fonts was Postoni but the name was changed to honor the founder of The Post, Stilson Hutchins.
