The company under consideration is Sony Corporation from Japan which is familiar to everyone due to its electronics products. Sony Corporation was started by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita in the year 1946, and their first logo came into existence in the year 1957 with a brand logotype placed inside the wall of a square shape.
It has undergone several redesigning since 1957 up to the version of 1973: just an enlargement of the serif slab typeface derived from Clarendon that was initially designed by Robert Besley.
