Old Scientific Illustration Font

Old Scientific Illustration is an elegant built-in script font, designed to be compatible with a graphic program. The font design is based on botanical collections such as Flora Londinensis, published by William Curtis in 1777. Similar handwritten scripts can be seen throughout illustrations produced at this time.

Formal script typefaces include multiple variations of letters with different connection points, flares, dribbles over the tops and tails. They have all sorts of different characters and styles – including dribbles. Generally ordinary script fonts only offer a few glyphs.

This release features an alphabet of small capital letters as well as miniscule for labelling things scientifically. Besides the numbers contain a selection for making consecutive sets of numbers not seem quite so monotonous.
