Oi! The development of Typeface occurred through a partnership between Fann Street Foundry and Kostas Bartsokas. The designers at Fann Street Foundry developed Oi! as a heavy display face while drawing from Caslon Ionic from 1844 and Clarendon from 1845. The Clarendonesques-released Oi! becomes a theatrical masterpiece which establishes a loud vocal style while rejecting apology for attention-seeking behaviors of a notorious loudmouth.
