Nethsans Font - Dafont Free

Nethsans typeface is an unrestricted font designed for both personal and commercial use. As its name implies, ‘neth’ stands for Netherlands while sans refers to sans serif type. This contemporary font took months of design efforts. Though only few characters long, its concept originated as an experiment meant to see if designing it could be enjoyable. Around 40% is created using an AI algorithm, and creating and writing the software took an enormous amount of time and was quite challenging when designing font families independently.

I needed to copy fonts into Fontlab to make any necessary optical balance adjustments as well as modify and fill in settings accordingly. As it develops further, it could develop the capability of creating more sophisticated font families all by itself. Furthermore, speed improvements should help speed things up; currently they’re rather slow.
