The ‘National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing’, or the NASCAR as it is more commonly known, is the premier auto racing sanctioning body in the United States. It was founded by Bill France Sr. in 1948, and the race officially started in Florida and was affiliated with ACCUS-FIA. The ‘NASCAR’ font is used to create the NASCAR logo and is a part of the ‘sans-serif’ font family.
The font has slanted letters that are tall and slim, and the ‘NASCAR’ is an all-caps font. The logo, especially because of the font used to create it, perfectly symbolizes the institution it represents.
