Minigap Font - Dafont Free

Minigap is a geometric narrow sans type with a dia coming from slightly rounded corners to give it a very unique appearance where the ratio between the lower and upper case is very close to one. If you are into typography, Minigap is special thanks to its oddly high height x value – it’s very high indeed. The challenge was to create a text style that would look appealing with minimal descending and ascending elements to avoid interference with lines above and below it. Without going too far with the one case style of the fonts, but without losing the readability of the text.

This design gives a neat and clean look and has more elegant layout; it also looks good on the small screen. Optical correction through the use of pure geometric lines is done to each of the letter in order to give the most perfect representation of each. In capital letters and numbers, sharp corners on larger styles are retained in order to keep harmony within the family and they look very neat.
