Consolas is a monospaced typeface designed by Luc(as) de Groot and included as part of Microsoft’s Clear Type Font Collection, using their font rendering technology. Available with Windows Vista, Office 2007 and Visual Studio 2010, download is also available through Microsoft; its zero character has an eyelash symbol as its zero. Furthermore, Consolas includes some Open Type layout features such as stylized alternates, localized forms with uppercase-sensitive forms, olderstyle figures lining characters superscript subscript.
