The ‘Bahnschrift’ font was especially created by Microsoft to be featured as part of their Windows 10, specifically in the Fall Creators Update Build 16273, in Fall 2017. By taking inspiration from the DIN 1451 writing standard, which is a font heavily recognised from the traffic signals in countries such as Germany and the Czech Republic, this is a unique font with bold, sturdy characters that are set apart from each other with visible gaps.
This font also comes with options to change the thickness of the letters, as well as increase and reduce the gaps between the characters.
