Heading Now is the new release of the Heading Pro typeface family created by Francesco Canovaro for Zetafonts and developed into a super family containing now 160 fonts. With its 10 widths ranging from ultra compressed to ultra wide and eight weights ranging from light to black, Heading Now gives designers a wealth of options for the use of sans serif fonts. Heading Now has been created to save space for titles and headers due to its compact width suitable for controlling the page space and screen viewing area which makes it suitable for titles, sub headings, timetables, and information graphics, and in cases where there is too much or too large amount of text used.
On the other side of its range of widths there are special extended variations intended for titles where style and dynamics are more important than space or resolution. This doesn’t only mean that the heading font family consists of extreme widths only. We can also use middle width range to design body text since it is not the narrowest option available. Italic with the same weight might be useful to provide extra flexibility in the usage of text and can also be used as display style when the regular weight fonts cannot be used for display.
