Jumanji, the 1995 movie directed by Joe Johnston, became an instant cult favorite. Based on the story by Van Allsburg, the reviews and critical acclaim of the movie were both positive and overwhelming even at the time of release. The logo of the movie became just as recognizable as the movie itself, leading to the creation of the ‘Jumanji’ font later.
A fun and exciting all-caps font, the ‘Jumanji’ has been mostly used on merchandise and accessories promoting the movie. In recent years, the same font was used to recreate the logo for the later installments of the series in 2017, 2019, and 2026.
