The Typography employed in the logo of Heineken Beer is known as Heineken Font which belongs to Heineken Breweries of Amsterdam, which was founded by Gerard Adriaan Heineken in the year 1873. Two of these are the Authenticity logo and the Star Heineken logo both are common on coasters, glasses and Heineken bottles where the five-pointed red stars have ‘Heineken’ inscribed on the base.
According to the history, it was Alfred Henry Heineken, the great grandson of the founder of Heineken, who designed the word ‘Heineken’ by reversing the lower case ‘e’ so that when one looked at the logo, he would not help but talk about it.
