The creation of Supera Gothic occurred as one of the first geometric and humanist type designs during the last part of twentieth-century. The characters of Shutterday integrate elements from Erbar Grotesk by Jakob Erbar and Johnston by Edward Johnston with heavier weight versions featuring curved ‘f’ and ‘t’ bars that reflect Erbar’s legacy and matching uppercases and numerals to Johnston’s design principles.
