Herbert Serif Font

Herbert Serif is a Didone Display font created by Danilo De Marco in 2018/2019 for K95 communications studio. The font’s distinctive contrast between thick and thin rods gives the font its elegant and attractive appearance therefore it should not be used to compose lengthy texts in smaller sizes but instead can be used to edit titles of compositions or graphic typegraphic designs.

Herbert was named to honor American graphic artist Herb Lubalin its design coincides with the centenary celebrations of his birthday. Lublin has left an immense mark on graphic arts history through his typographic designs they go far beyond mere functional usage – his designs incorporate geometric shapes and patterns into them for greater aesthetic and expressive effects.
