Product Sans Font Family

Product Sans is an organic sans serif typeface developed by Google for use in branding. Redesigned on September 1st 2015 to replace its previous logo, Product Sans was adopted across all gadgets as it became increasingly prominent across devices and was intended to remain consistent across devices – remaining simple, modest and approachable at all times.

Product Sans was developed entirely from scratch to integrate seamlessly with our brand logos across a range of situations and product lockups without obscuring them. Furthermore, it helps define our new brand identity by offering a primary typeface for branding that stands apart from other elements used within Material Design – creating a distinct character in terms of both style and function – making Product Sans an indispensable component to Google’s branding system.
