Oceanic Text is a modern serif font family that is easily noticeable and perfectly designed to be the focus. Oceanic is based on the vertical contrast that is typical of such 18th and 19th-century fat faces as Bodoni, Canon, or Scotch Romans. It also has some of the elements of the you can see that c or e are drawn to look like prehistoric sea creatures, and the capital R and K are just more contrasting, making one slightly uneasy.

The Text family remains austere and does not use high contrast and has a slightly narrower letter spacing. Created for small sizes and continuous text, Oceanic has the right balance of neutrality, elegance and personality that can never be too in your face or too plain.
