Leighton is a display serif typeface of four styles of varying weights. Created in 1993 by Paul Hickson of P&P Hickson and Steve Jackaman of ITF, for ITF’s Red Rooster Collection. Indeed, the design is inspired from the Lectura typeface designed by Dick Dooijes in 1966 for the Amsterdam Foundry.
Leighton represent a style that has an affluence of Dutch motifs. It is a decision, to end corporate projects and looks good whether it’s big or small.
