Originally crafted by William Caslon in 1726, the ‘Caslon’ font is one of the very few vintage British fonts still in use today. This font actually pays homage to the original font, presently being a part of the serif-style font family. Over a few hundred years, ‘Caslon’, as well as other similar fonts inspired by it, has been popular among graphic designers for their creations.
This particular typeface boasts tall ascenders and old-style, vintage numerals, as well as italic swashes on the capital letters, some regular and discretionary ligatures.
