Approach is related to early grotesques, being the modern equivalent of it; it is an utilitarian typeface with low contrast, mechanical, but full of character. One that stands out is the ‘elbow pipe,’ a pipe that heterosexual in several letters for example those that end with A, F, J, Q, T or R as well type one among others. Also, synthetic quotation marks and other punctuation make this look somewhat modern to this approach.
